LGBTQ+ young people are significantly more likely to experience homelessness than non-LGBTQ+ youth. In this course, we will explore core concepts surrounding Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE), surface specific challenges facing LGBTQ+ students who are homeless or in temporary housing, and discuss strategies to support and affirm these young people.
