This webinar provides an overview of Scholastic’s LitCamp Powered by LiteracyPro Summer Rising literacy program for grades K-8. Participants will learn how to access implementation materials for teachers, students and families. This session will provide a review of the LitCamp instructional model and the digital pacing guide for Summer Rising. Additionally, participants will learn more about program’s supplemental digital components and explore how they enhance the LitCamp experience. Access session materials here.
The curriculum will be available beginning this Friday in the new Summer Rising section of TeachHub.(http://teachhub.schools.nyc/) Sites will need to program their students in STARs in order to receive access to the digital curriculum. We also have demo accounts for Scholastic and Imagine Learning so that support teams and site supervisors can assist their schools. Please see the credentials here. Note that these accounts should only be used for support and not for instruction in the classroom as all features may not be present within the demo accounts.
