In this course, you’ll review the definition and benefits of effective family engagement and learn how to develop a tailored family engagement plan that addresses the unique needs of your school or program. You’ll explore inclusive communication techniques and effective family engagement strategies that encourage meaningful two-way communication between families and educators. The course also emphasizes the importance of building trust in family learning spaces by sharing power, facilitating connections, and practicing empathy.
